To help ensure a safe, seamless, and memorable performance, please review the following details prior to your event.

Certificate of Insurance (COI) & Additional Insured Information
- Who should I email the Certificate of Insurance (COI) to?
- Please provide the current manager or event coordinator’s full name and email address, as venue management occasionally changes.
- If your venue requires Additional Insured coverage, please provide the complete Additional Insured wording exactly as it should appear on the certificate, along with any required Certificate Holder information or mailing address.
- Please allow sufficient time for my insurance provider to process and issue updated certificates before your event.
- What area of the venue will the performance take place?
- The performance area should have a level, even surface suitable for dancing and fire performance. Installed dance floors, portable dance floors, concrete, pavers, and other stable surfaces work well. Firm, compact sand is also acceptable for beach performances.
- If the performance area will be on artificial turf or grass, will a dance floor be provided? If not, I can provide a performance rug to help protect the surface.
- Please ensure there is adequate overhead clearance throughout the performance area. String lights, hanging décor, chandeliers, and other overhead obstructions should be positioned high enough to allow for the safe use of fire props. If necessary, I can perform in an alternate location with sufficient overhead clearance.
- Who will be providing the music (DJ or live band)?
- Approximately how many guests will be attending?
- I can provide my performance music to your DJ or band in advance, or I can bring my own speaker. My portable speaker is designed to cover the immediate performance area and is not intended for large outdoor sound coverage.
- What is the exact scheduled performance start time?
- I always allow extra travel time between events to accommodate minor schedule delays. While I do my best to remain flexible, I may have additional performances later that day, so staying close to the scheduled start time is greatly appreciated.
- My Fire Safety Assistant, Mack, will establish a designated fueling and fire safety area near the performance area.
- Whenever possible, this area will be positioned out of sight of guest photos and videos while remaining easily accessible for safe operation.
- Mack will also monitor the performance area throughout the show and assist with all fire safety procedures.
- My Fire Safety Assistant, Mack, will coordinate with your DJ, live band, or venue staff before the performance begins.
- LED dance lights should be turned off during the fire performance, as they can overpower the natural beauty and visibility of the flames.
- Ambient lighting, such as string lights, café lights, landscape lighting, or other venue lighting, may be dimmed when possible to create a more dramatic presentation while maintaining a safe environment.
- Performance music should be cued and ready to begin at the scheduled start time to ensure a smooth presentation.
- Who will be providing your wedding photography and videography?
- I enjoy coordinating with your photography and video team to help capture the best moments of the performance.
- One of my favorite traditions is taking a photo with the newlyweds at the conclusion of the show. This is typically done during or immediately following the Fire Breathing Finale while maintaining a safe distance from the couple.
